Premium Gasoline?
Does anyone here buy premium gasoline that's a few cents more a gallon or litre?
I was pumping regular the other day and it occurred to me that the extra money would really add up. Do you think the premium gas is worth it?
Only if your vehicle calls for premium, sometimes still not necessary. High compression, performance engines and such need premium. Also high altitude you can lower octane rating you buy. Quite a few variables.
I suspect many people spend more buying the premium kind of gas who don't actually require it for their vehicles. I guess financially for them, it's not as much of a concern if they have an expense account to pay for it.
My car actually takes premium but I had to run that out just so I could safely use regular. I so can't afford premium right now. It's just way too high. I mean don't get me wrong, regular is just as high but it makes a huge difference in savings.
