Your Approximate Credit Score

If you don't want to pay to get your credit score, I don't blame you. Why the feds didn't make it mandatory to make the credit score part of the free credit report package is beyond me but they didn't. I guess the CRAs padded their re-eelction campaign chests with enough dollars. That way they could still make a killing selling us our scores.

Here is a site that will give you your approximate credit score. It is on MSN so it is fairly reputable and reliable. Mind you, it isn't your score, it is only a ballpark number:

I tried it out on me before I posted it and by golly it was close.

Nice post! It's tough to find reliable resources for your score unless you pay $30+ at myfico.com.  This is a helpful tool for people who just want a basic, ballpark idea of what their credit score might be.  Thanks for the post.

That's a great link! Thanks for that, I never knew that there was anything like this on the internet to be quite honest! Thanks very much! It isn't exact, but it gives you an idea, which for me personally, does help
