I received an interesting email about cell phones the other day.One of the facts stated was that you can avoid charges for directory assistance by punching in 800-free-411 or 800-373-3411.Has anyone here heard of this or tried it?

yes i have, it works...just like calling another number on your cell phone

I use it all the time. You have to listen to a commercial but it is free and works real well. It's kind of like the old time and temperature lines.
