How To Break The Cycle of Debt
loffrey
(Guest) - Stick to the rule of thumb to break your debt...
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Anna Lee

- Yes, debt has not become burden on a very fine morning. Our daily activities have increase the volume of debt which dangerous for ourselves. But there are some incidents which a person can't overcome or passed. Our education, sense of debt will not save us if we could not be ready.
- Hey this is so nice...if only everyone would follow these steps. Most people do not carry out those pointers you gave and hence they sink into debts to over their heads without even realizing it. Thank you for the beautiful way you have put it ::thumbs up!::
serendipity
- that was a good article, nice!
- nice post buddy..really helpful for me
karu
- hi...clearing debt is like loosing weight ...good comparision....
- I know I need to tell myself those helpful tips everyday in order to sink in. I'd been too careless about my fnances and now with the global economic crisis, I know that I just have to have self-discipline.
- GREAT stuff!!! I think that so often that we WANT to stick with it, but old habits or lack of consistency and a gamplan allow us to derail. I find ACCOUNTABILITY helps me stick with healty eating, exercising...and financial success. I ran across some GREAT guys that call what they do
Financial Rehabilition
. The reason that really stuck with me is that there are NO QUICK FIXES and no magic wands, but these guys assesed my situation
(scary as it was...Aaarrgghhh!!!)
, determined my long term goals - then rolled up their sleeves and asked me to do the same...and away we went. What kept me going was I knew they were watching, waiting and helping me at every turn - but felt they were not only my coach, but my cheerleaders - too! To see more go to my blog at

.

- Every circumstance is an opportunity to learn.
- thanks for the advice.
rofizarkasih
- Very helpful article. To be able to fight the debt demons, you must really have very strong intention.
pinl
- I have similar thoughts but its very difficult to look at a broader picture always when you have your regular problems occuping your mind.
aliaslucs
- thank you for this great article, it is very helpful to us.
Belena
- Yes it is all to easy to try and ignore what's happening, but it will not go away. The situation requires some positive action. As you say it will not happen overnight, it takes time, so the sooner you start the better.
sweetseoul
- thanks for the advice. It's really hard to fight debt....
austenfan
- I agree, I think almost everyone knows what debt is about and how bad is it. The only real problem is trying to fight accumulating more debts and sticking to your plan towards becoming debt-free.
aizjane
- What a good tips. Just some people not even thinking the way they plan in having debt and they don't even know how to pay it.
niitesh
- Fine bit of information friend, looking up and keeping a clear picture in mind is a most. Know what are the obstacles you got to face helps in drawing out a plan and overcoming it .
- great information.thanks a lot
jam22
- I think its a great advise ......thanks
- This is informative, thanks for sharing it with us. I know that most people are faced with debt because they borrow more money than the money that they can earn and pay the debt amount. For me discipline is important and self control so that you won't get tempted to things you cannot handle specially money.
- I will take your advice .
- Thanks for your response !
- I like your statement, which gives a more macro view of how to deal with the debt issue. Saving is important, but that is only part of the story. Instead of complaining, we must take a positive atitude and enhance our qualification to get out of the difficulties. Set up a correct strategy and be persistent in the execution. The process will prove a treasure all along the life.
saizo6
- Great blog...it's very informative...and true. you can't really expect to solve your debt problems if you can't face the fact first.
Carolyn
- This is a good blog. Just like weight loss, until you find the best method for you, it won't work. Asking around, finding the right method, that's the key.
- have u noticed that when people get credit card trouble they use their other cards to pay them off and so on until they file for bankruptcy i think when we obtain a creditcard we go crazy and buy things we want but dont need
- Great. i love it. Thanks for the information.
aida0205
- what a goof information and blog
- good blog...
nice one..
keep it up....
wonderful1
- the most important is choose a way right for me and keep it.
how many methods are there for getting out of debt? snowball? can you explain more about this way?
jasmeet
- I think the last hurdle is the most difficult, people should have more will power.
buggles
- Great post, and an excellent precursor to sitting down and writing a budget. Knowing exactly what debt you have is the first step in tackling any debt you might have.
Also, like the idea of "sticking with it" even though you might not see immediate results, you will have results..creating that beloved "snowball" effect!
- I feel among the all, 'face the facts' plays the important role, as if we proceed further without considering to whom we are liable to pay, may lead to additional problems rather than solving the issue. Also to finding the right method and implementing it will only help us to get out of our debt.
beautyqueen26
- Fantastic article. There's no easy solution to debt reduction. The first step is to admit that there is a problem. And, to acknowledge the debt and get it out into the open.
Hiding debt is the worst way to begin recovery.
- This is great advice, the first step is realizing how important dealing with your personal finance in a responsible way is, do your research of the different ways to begin getting it under control, pick a plan and stick with it no matter how hard it seems. It will all pay off in the end.
- Great advice. I am just starting to get out of my debt. Everyday makes a small difference and every little change helps. Thanks for the encouragment.

- nice job! I think too many people fail to look at the big picture and by the time they take notice, the little things have added up and it's overwhelming.
- I think this is great advice. I see many people falling into the trap once they take a new loan to clear the old one.
elasolova
- Thanks for advice. I especially liked the `stick with it` part. I believe someone should be determined in any situation especially in hard situations. Changing your mind alot will make you more harm.
Debbie
- Great advice. I think the biggest step is deciding not to incur any new debt when you decide you want to get out of debt. It doesn't do any good to make payments to your creditors if you still swipe a credit card once in awhile.
