- Very insightful article. If we can only follow the advises here, well be free financially and be debt free. Im a coffee person, but now I rarely go out to coffee shops for coffee, instead i have coffee at home and also pack my own coffee thersmos for mid day coffee...believe me doing this saved me a lot of pesos.
- I've been buying generic medicines since time immemorial but skipping coffee and limiting the eating out with family is still one thing I need to accomplish. I really need more self-discipline right now in order to be able to pay my debts as well as make some savings.

- These are some great tips on how to save money. Unplugging electronics can also help save and are an easy thing to do once you get used to it, saving more will definitely be a good way to help boost the routine, plus helping the environment is an added bonus!

- I couldn't agree with you more. Yesterday, I had a sub assignment and was offered a free lunch, but they still had to write down how much the meal cost. I got a pint of milk, 1/2 cup of mixed fruit and a taco. My total was $3.18. Can you imagine spending this much everyday? That's a little over $15.00 a week. It would definitely be much cheaper on the students if they took their own lunches. WOW!
beautyqueen26
- Fantastic advice! I learned so much. I'm always interested in frugal, money saving tips. Another tip: unplug your computer every night. That will save your computer from power surges which are costly and often ruin the computer.
LauraT2009
- Good tips here!!! I would also suggest buying items in bulkt to cut down costs and make a shopping list so that you are not tempted to impulse spend
aizjane
- Its really good to have the cheaper one and to things to save more. This tips is great.
ady4u_blue
- Very informative indeed! thanks
- Pack a food for lunch is helpful in saving money. But some of us feel shy to bring it from home. I hope i can practice it. I totally agreed the other tips.
- Very practical and realistic way to save money. . .

- I can save money and be healthy if i don't often eat dinner out, so it is a good suggestion. but i can't save that much, because i can't earn $900 in a month.
citrusemma
- Great tips, and realistic too, since all of us like to have a break and if we don't have one planned we're more likely to be excessive!

- These are all great ideas. I also like to use coupons. Often you can get a name brand product cheaper than the generic or "off brand."
