- Great and simple breakdown, probably the best I've seen of a breakdown for cheaper, energy efficient bulbs, I've seen in awhile! Appreciate this informative blog.
- wow you've got a very informative blog there... changing to energy saving devises really helps - having a say and contribution to save our environment and making some savings in your pocket at the same time. that's cool!

- I have already used florescent bulbs at my home for 2 years. But I have never realized that it is a great thing to do. Thanks for enlightening me!
sophie_dfuss
- I agree to your article as we have done this in the past few years in my mother's house. After we changed the fluorescent lamps into compact fluorescent bulbs of 8 watts each, our electricity has gone down and we really save a lot of money on electricity bills as much as 1,000pesos!
- Before i come to this blog,Im never thought that using florescent instead of incandescent could help us save some money. Thanks a lot! Im proudly to say that i just used florescent in my house.
aida0205
- wow.. whats a great and very informative.. After reading this article, i realize that we can save a lot..
- Use energy saving appliances is a good way to save money. I have changed all of my light bulbs, though the initial cost is high. The genuine Philips cost about RMB 30 each, and the cheapest about RMB 10, but lasts only months. Recently the government encourages changing the light bulbs, offering subsidies for the factory, hence we can buy a limited number of energy saving bulbs at a relatively cheaper price. A good way to save power in the long run.

- Can you really make a difference by changing the bulb? After reading this article, I would say a resounding Yes!
Thanks for the great ideas. I had not considered all the factors involved with light bulb usage.
Mostly I have avoided these bulbs cause they are more expensive up front. But if they help reduce electricity costs, then that would be the smarter option.
- Very informative blog post! A lot of thought has gone into how much it costs to change a light bulb! Will deffo be changing my bulbs tommorrow
