- I like your ideas. When you mentioned 'dirt restaurant' it reminded me of my own childhood. We didn't call it that though.. we called it 'making mud pies'... and it was sooo much fun! I like the ideas of water games and blowing bubbles outside... kids don't get outside enough anymore ... they have become couch potatoes playing on the computer and stuff like that. I love your article.

- There is a great park not far from my house. Many people go there to ride bikes, walk, jog, skate, play basketball, volleyball etc. They also have a nice playground for the kids. I usually take my kids there a couple times a month when the weather is nice. Not only is it free but it makes them active and social with the other children.
it's also fun to do nature crafts like painting rocks for the garden.

- Now you're making me feel so guilty. We have a 6-year-old kid in the house and the only games she knows are the games in the internet. This is not good so we have to get her into some activity that will make her start moving.

- My daughter wants to enroll in a ballet class. i'm so glad it won't cost us a lot. Since the ballet class takes only two hours a day from Monday to Friday, I will infuse your suggested activities for the weekends.
