sikat - We save the water the drips from our air-conditioner and use it to water the pants. We hang our clothes to dry at the back of the air-conditioner. I keep my receipt and use the back as a shopping list.
somecowgirl - Thanks for all of these tips. I've read few some and may read through more when I'm not half asleep!
thinkingoutloud - These are excellent tips that are really easy to implement.  In regards to tip #59. Re-use Baggies/Ziplock -- I stopped using plastic bags.  I purchased appropriate containers that fit into each of my children's lunch bags.  They each have a sandwich container and then smaller ones that will hold a muffin, fruit, veggies, etc.  They each use a refillable water bottle (as was suggested).  This results in less waste since they are not throwing away bags and wrappings every day.  I just wash the containers and re-use.  Some people worry that containers will leak or not be as reliable to stay closed as a zippered plastic bag.  I highly recommend "Lock & Lock" containers... airtight, keeps everything fresh (and not squished in a backpack!).  Great investment.
