- These are all great ideas. How about unplugging appliances when they are not being used? This is definitely something that I am going to be practicing once I have a home of my own.

- Good info. The part about turning off the computer is soo true. Not only turning it off but unplugging an appliances/electronics that are not in use can drastically reduce utility bills. Just because something is not on does not mean it is not still sucking up power. Passive electricity.

- Please remember that compact florescent bulbs are highly dangerous if they are busted, and that computers are super-cool and should never be turned off. ;)
