djonghs - This is s superb idea, and goes along with Go Green initiative. Decrease you utility bills mean you have decrease your electricity usage or you may say that you have save an energy which is also mean saving the world in the long run.

buggles - These are all great ideas. How about unplugging appliances when they are not being used? This is definitely something that I am going to be practicing once I have a home of my own.

RaeCam104 - Good info. The part about turning off the computer is soo true. Not only turning it off but unplugging an appliances/electronics that are not in use can drastically reduce utility bills. Just because something is not on does not mean it is not still sucking up power. Passive electricity.

HelpMePayOffMyDebt - Please remember that compact florescent bulbs are highly dangerous if they are busted, and that computers are super-cool and should never be turned off. ;)
