On, Friday the 3rd of April, something I've been waiting 16 years for finally happened. I got to see NKOTB live, AGAIN!! I still remember the first concert I've ever been too as it was one of theirs! It was doing the Face The Music tour at Bogarts. It was REALLY Special to see them again at this time, during a 'comeback'. I wouldn't really call it a comeback, as to most of the fans, they were always there, in the background, always a thought. At least for myself.

We got to Columbus about 5 or so (had got stuck in a bit of traffic), went to our hotel and got ourselves are pretty, just because!! We around at the venue about 5:30 (It was only about 4 minutes from our hotel). I was surprised to see so many YOUNGER (8 to 16) people there. There were also A LOT of guys there (I don't know if it's because they knew they were getting laid later on, or if they were there because of Jabberwohkee's as they were the opening act). The guy in front of me tried to play it cool like he was there for something OTHER than the guys. Not So. He was as loud as the rest of us when the guys came out. Which was awesome.

I can't remember exactly WHICH order they sang the songs in, it was all a blur. They sung the majority of older songs (Step by Step, No Games, If You Go Away, Tonight, The Right Stuff, Hanging Tough...) and a few of the songs off the newest album 'The Block' (Grown Man/Big Girl Now, Dirty Dancing, 2 In The Morning, Single, Summertime,Twisted, Click Click Click). Donnie, Joe and Jordan did solos. Joe and Jordan did songs off their solo albums, Donnie did 'Cover Girl.' Personally, It was one of my favorite perfermances of the night.

During 2 In The Morning and Single, they were in the middle of the floor on a moving circular stage witih a piano on it. I was kinda bummed as I knew Ne-Yo were at a lot of the other gigs, and was looking forward to seeing him perform the song with the guys. That's ok, I got over that FAST. Jon is still shy as ever, and was barely seen, which is why there are few pictures of him. Danny stood on his head, which won him the NKOTB pose off for the night. Lol! It was awesome. I was watching him thinking he should've been up there with Jabbawockees (Who were awesome, love ya Timmy)! It was insane.

Donnie decided to tell all of us Ohio girls, while decked out in OSU gear, that he'd never had a girlfriend from Ohio and was single now (while holding up his hand to prove it). Then he broke into his solo of 'Cover Girl' and decided to make it Ohio Girl, while doing the chant and hand motions. It was enjoyable, very enjoyable. ;) Then, he shook his ass, for a longggg time. Woohoo! haha! Joe did this crazy ass "dirty dance" with one of the dancers, one of the hottest things all night. Seriously. Jordan decided to let a wind fan blow on him, and tear his shirt open, didn't do to much for me. haha!

The people in front of us were wasted before the show started and left well before it was over, well about 10 mins or so, as they were tired of waiting for the guys to come back out. Hangin Tough was the last song of the night, as it should be. (Thinking back I believe Step by Step was the first followed by Grown Man). They wanted to get to the afterparty to make sure they could get in I assume, as Donnie didn't show up until about midnight or so.The concert lastest about 3 hours, so I know there are songs and details I am missing. If I can remember them I'll report back.

I am still on cloud nine and still have a huge smile on my face! Seriously, one of the best concerts I've seen in a long time (that includes all the o-town, nsync, backstreet, and tim mcgraw ones). I bought two shirts, not a tour one, even though I have to get a tour one since they were have new merch during the summer and I need a shirt with the Columbus date on it. I bought the Breast Cancert shirt, in Honour of Betty. I got my photo taken with the shirt, as I bought it and they were taking pictures for the site and accepting donations. I also bout the pink click click click shirt. Mostly because it has some of my favorite things - Pink, New kids on the block (in glitter!), and click click click, and I'm such a photowhore, that it was only an obvious choice.

I def can't wait until June 27th now!! I so wanna go to the June 23rd gig in Cleaveland but I won't be able to make it up there. I doubt at the moment I'll be able to get off work for it either. Roll on the 27th at Riverbend though!!! Woohoo. If you haven't gone to a show this year/last year, this is DEF a show you HAVE to see. I don't care if you didn't like them when they first came out, trust me, go! It won't be a waste of money.

Side note here, Donnie announced that they'd played Columbus exactly 20 years ago the night (April 3rd) during the first tour they went on. I thought that was really interesting. Columbus def brought it!

Let's Get This Sh*t! See ya soon!!
