Use Your Talents To Make Money
These days, with people getting laid off left and right, we have to be creative to survive. I am sure that in many areas the barter system is making a comeback. I think it should.
This is how I feel about the housing crisis. How many people who have lost their homes to forclosure have had that happen by no fault of their own? How many of these people were caught up on payments up until the point that they lost their jobs? Why should they be punished when it really is not their fault?I don't think they should be.
Ths is my idea of a decent, if not good solution. Barter. Rather than take these homes away from the peopl who lived there, and allow the houses to be vandalized and turned into horrible eye-sores in a once beautiful community, why not strike a deal. Allow these people to work for their mortgage payments by helping the community. Just think of all the good that could be done!
Energy costs? Why not barter for them too? There is always something that a person can do to help out the community and bartering in this way would serve a great purpose for all.
I am not saying that this should be a permanent solution, but I think it would really help everybody until the time comes when our economy is stable again.
