Jaypee's World

I had been working for four years. Luckily, despite of the threatening power of the economic global crisis, I still got fortunate of saving my seat in the faculty where I am working. Yet, my life seems to be far from the streams of abundance. And the haunting question is why.
My wife topped our college during our graduation rites. She finished 11th in the entire university and first in our college. After some time, we decided to finally tie the knot and have children. We have two kids now and apparently, we're seeing our economic status as withering. The question still stands, why. And I believe that I know the answer. Here in our country, compared to the major number of workers' wages, ours is somehow good if not better. We may choose not to work abroad anymore if we wish to since our finances flow more than the call of our needs. But when I made comparisons with young couples like us, whose pays are not as high as ours, I've seen great improvements in their set-ups. I can see great smiles showing a cue of abundance filling the hearts of their kins. I don't say that we don't play getting joyfully filled, but I see that our investments are not making good outputs. And those couples have made great businesses, and we, have never worn a baker's hat or a opened even a mini-store. Why again... because our lifestyle competes with our salaries.
The key to finance freedom is simplicity. I am not a taoist, but the philosophy that it offers deal a bunch of happiness and ultimately, abundance. If I have chosen to spend our finances wisely, we could have filled our reservoir of coins to the topmost, perhaps, have bought a better container. But unfortunately, I did not live that way. Rather, I chose to fill my tummy with luxury and helped my face to widen that big tricky grin. I now regret that I have chosen a lifestyle that competes to my pay. I should have studied a bit of taoism during my days then I wouldn't have regrets about my finances today.
