I always set aside a very meager amount every month and at the end of the year, donate it to a charity. The amount you save could be equivalent of a price of a Pizza that you order in a month. When I convert the saved money at the year and transfer it to my country it is not much. I usually do not take any tax exemptions for these donations. But yes they are there incase anyone wants to use that while filing their taxes.
