What are Metatags, and how can they help me get exposure to my site/blog?
Now for those that don't dig in deep when it comes to their website/blog and getting attention to it i'm going to give a quick tip that should greatly improve the attention your blog or website gets. What you do is simply use metatags. What is a Metatag? Sounds pretty cool, eh?
Well. I guess to put it simply it's what the bots on google and other places search for to get an idea of what your site is about. They're like your "main keywords" so to speak. Without metatags all bots that index your site have to go off of is the content. Adding metatags is fairly easy, just figure out what keywords you want to use before going further and don't over-do it. About 20 keywords in your metatags section is a good number to stick with. Possibly even less. Adding them to a website is easy and you can do quick google searches like "how to add metatags" to get an idea or I may post up a blog entry on Destroydebt with a guide to help you out to earn better money online to help you get out of debt faster!
