Reducing Expenses in a Green Way
I'm In Debt

As everyone looks for ways to reduce their living expenses and pay off debt during an increasingly difficult economic time - let's not overlook areas we can save money and live "more green" in the process. Even if you haven't considered yourself active in the "save the environment" campaign, if you can save money and help the land we live on at the same time, it's worth giving it a try, don't you think?
One of the reasons people avoid taking the initiative to live greener is the perceived cost of doing so. Sure, having your own windmill to generate electricity for your home would save you money by not having to pay an electric bill; but who can afford to build and install their very own windmill electricity center in their backyard?
There are actually a lot more reasonable ways to save money through greener living - and many of the methods won't cost you much (if anything) to implement. What they do cost is a little thought on your part. We're so used to grabbing a roll of papertowels to clean up a spill, buying products with tons of excess packaging that ends up in our trash and then cluttering up our landfills, or forgetting to turn the lights off when we leave a room that in order to change these habits we have to make a conscious effort. The good news is, changing many of these wasteful habits can give you more cash in your pocket - and who can't use more of that these days?
I came up with
76 Ways to Save Money While Saving the Environment. Not every method will work for your family, but in a list that long, there has to be a few things you can start doing right now to help you reduce your living expenses - and do your part in helping our environment at the same time.
