It's is not enough that you know the driver. Learn to stop, look, and listen for danger signs...
We need this  following basic ,information, and, if something doesn't feel right, it's probably time to look for another service. because   we need the safety of our kid's so we have a peace of mind...
Vehicle safety - Is the bus new, newly tuned - up, and in good shape?
Driver's qualifications - Does he have a professional driver's license?
Bus stops -  Will the bus accommodate important stops, such as store, if majority of the riders request it?
Bus seating - Is there a seating arrangement and is it appropriate for the gender and age of your child ?
Route identification - Are all pathways to be taken safe for children? Are all major thoroughfares? No backstreets and alleyways?
Pick-up time - Does the service follow a regular schedule, or it erratic?                         Does your child get picked up and get picked up and dropped off at more or less the same time every                        day ?
Delayed buses - Does the service provide a way to let the students or parents know of any delays or if the bus can't                               picked up at all ?
Tardy students - Is there a measure to prevent habitual tardy students from causing inconveniences to the other                                     riders?
Animal/pets - Are they allowed on board ?
Lost items - Who will be responsible for lost things inside the school bus ?
